WEEKLY REPORT WEEK 1 ( 25/09/2024 - 27/09/2024) During the first phase of my teaching practice, I had the privilege of being assigned to teach a class of 42 eighth-grade students at Govt. Model HSS, Venganoor, under the guidance of Rajalekshmi Teacher. The first week of my teaching practice was filled with excitement and a sense of accomplishment as I was able to introduce the students to new content while building rapport with them. I began by introducing the unit "Seeds and Deeds," a topic that captivated the students' attention right away. They responded enthusiastically to the vivid descriptions and the profound life lessons embedded in the unit. HEALTH EDUCATION 2

 As part of the B.Ed. curriculum during my first-phase teaching practice, I conducted classes on health education for Class 8A. On the second day, I conducted a class on the importance of sanitation. I explained how proper sanitation practices, such as maintaining clean surroundings, handwashing, and waste management, are essential in preventing the spread of diseases. I engaged the students in discussions on how good sanitation practices can lead to healthier communities and a better quality of life. The students were attentive and participated actively, and it was rewarding to see them grasp the importance of both health education and sanitation in their daily lives.

 As part of the B.Ed. curriculum during my first-phase teaching practice, I conducted classes on health education for Class 8A. In the first class, I focused on the importance of health education, explaining how it plays a crucial role in maintaining physical, mental, and social well-being. I highlighted topics such as nutrition, exercise, and the prevention of diseases. The session emphasized how understanding and adopting healthy habits can improve the quality of life, and I encouraged students to take responsibility for their health and well-being.

CONSCIENTIZATION PROGRAMME REPORT : ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES OF SOCIAL MEDIA

 As part of the B.Ed. curriculum during my first-phase teaching practice, I conducted a conscientization program in Class 8A on the topic "Advantages and Disadvantages of Social Media." The session aimed to make students aware of the impact of social media on their daily lives, both positively and negatively. To effectively convey the topic, I used a PowerPoint presentation that illustrated key points, such as the benefits of staying connected, accessing information, and learning opportunities through social media. At the same time, I highlighted the potential drawbacks, such as cyberbullying, time wastage, and privacy concerns. The use of visuals and clear explanations helped simplify the concepts and engage students more effectively.
