MICROTEACHING CLASS 👩‍🏫

As part of the B.Ed. teaching practice, I conducted a microteaching session, where I selected two topics for the class: the poem "Daffodils" by William Wordsworth and the grammar section on tenses. The duration of the class was 5 to 10 minutes, which required me to focus on delivering clear and concise explanations. For the poem, I introduced the key themes of nature, beauty, and the emotional impact of the experience, encouraging students to reflect on how Wordsworth’s words evoke imagery and feelings. For the grammar section on tenses, I provided a brief overview of different tenses and demonstrated how they are used in sentences to convey time.

The session went smoothly, and I was able to present the topics effectively within the time constraints. I made sure to engage the students by encouraging them to participate and express their thoughts, creating an interactive and lively learning environment. The microteaching experience allowed me to refine my teaching skills, particularly in managing time and delivering content in a focused, engaging manner. Overall, it was a successful session, and I felt confident in my ability to present the topics clearly while maintaining student interest.
